We caught up with Gökhan Dölek, Aviation Development Manager for Asia, Africas and Americas for iGA Istanbul Airport, at Routes Americas 2024.
International Airport Review had the opportunity to travel to Routes Americas 2024, hosted at Bogota, Colombia.
Here, we caught up with Gökhan Dölek, the Aviation Development Manager for Asia, Africas and Americas for iGA Istanbul Airport. In this discussion, we talk about how iGA Istabul Airport achieved its impressive feat of closing the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey (in 2023) with 100 airlines. Gökhan explained the airport’s route development strategy which helped made this achievement possible.
Gökhan also provides exclusive insight into the airport’s plans for development, including a brand new triple parallel runway.
