Michael Eggenschwiler spoke to International Airport Review Editor Holly Miles at the International Airport Summit in London.
Outgoing Hamburg Airport CEO, Michael Eggenschwiler spoke to Holly Miles at the International Airport Summit.
Michael spoke about his challenges for 2024 which include managing the troughs and peaks – which are higher than they were pre-pandemic.
Michael said that the incoming CEO would have to think about regaining stability in airport operations, collaboration with the industry
When asked what’s in store for 2024? Michael said that they would be impementing machine learning and AI for stand allocation, automation in baggage and check-in in order to speed things up, and biometrics.
