We caught up with Thomas Hoff Andersson, MD and COO of Berlin Brandenburg Airport to discuss all things passengers, operations, innovation and sustainability. Thomas was happy to say that Berlin passengers are embracing digital offerings and in one year they have the doubled share of passengers doing self-service check-in and bag drop, they have also launched a new biometric way of travelling: BER Traveller. Thomas discussed how it works, and how they ensure privacy by design where the passenger owns their data.
