Steve Tukavkin, Vice President of IT & Digital at JFKIAT speaks to International Airport Review’s Editor, Holly Miles, about the innovative technologies such as Google Indoor Live View, Auto Bag Drop, Next Generation Kiosks, and Apron AI software that the operator has been implementing to improve the airport experience for passengers and staff.
Steve also spoke about the actions they will be taking to help them accommodate growing passenger numbers without increasing the square footage of the terminal, plus, the technology he is getting excited about in the airport space.

Steve Tukavkin, Vice President IT and Digital, leads the IT & Digital department for JFKIAT, the operator of Terminal 4, which delivers Information and Communication Technology services that support all aspects of the terminal’s IT operations, security systems and business solutions. Mr. Tukavkin spearheads strategy around implementing new technology initiatives, including those in the cyber security and business intelligence space, while helping T4 adopt digital technologies such as digital signage and self-service kiosks & auto bag drops.
As a seasoned IT executive with over 20 years of experience, Mr. Tukavkin previously worked at Brisbane Airport Corporation in Australia, serving as a technology and architecture manager. Prior to this role, he worked with the Royal Schiphol Group in Amsterdam.
