Scott Douglas has been appointed new Executive General Manager, Property, of Brisbane Airport Corporation from August 2019.
Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) CEO, Gert-Jan De Graaff, has announced that Scott Douglas will join BAC in August 2019 as its new Executive General Manager, Property.
Douglas was most recently employed as Investment General Manager at QIC Global Real Estate.
De Graaff said that with 25 years experience in the property industry across asset management, development management and funds management, Douglas is ideally placed to take the reins of one of Queensland’s most exciting property businesses.
De Graaff, commented: “With 500 hectares of developable land located at the cross-roads of some of Queensland’s most important arterial roads, and just minutes from the CBD, Brisbane Airport is a strategic development site for a vast array of businesses.
“Scott will also lead a number of BAC projects including the expansion of the retail and office precinct at Skygate and BNE Auto Mall, which are two substantial projects currently underway on site.
“We look forward to Scott bringing his vision and significant skill to the challenge of how to best develop this land for the benefit of the community and the many industries that use Brisbane Airport.”
Prior to his current role at QIC, Douglas held positions including Manager, Property Portfolio Investments and National Development in his 16-year career with QIC. He also spent a number of years with Westfield as a Development Executive.
Douglas has been a Queensland Divisional Council Member of the Property Council of Australia since 2014 and was formally a board member of the Property Industry Foundation.
