Jabine van der Meijs has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Royal Schiphol Group with effect from 1 May 2017.
She will succeed Els de Groot. Over the past 25 years, Jabine van der Meijs has worked for Royal Dutch Shell in various finance positions. Since 2009 she has been Vice President Finance at Shell Global Solutions.
“We are delighted that Jabine has decided to come to Schiphol,” says Jos Nijhuis, President & CEO of Royal Schiphol Group.
“Not only will she bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field of finance, she is also an expert on business development, capital projects and stakeholder management. We are convinced that she will prove to be a great enrichment of our management team and that she is a perfect match for Schiphol’s corporate culture. Jabine is a team player who really listens to others, but she can also ask direct and critical questions when she feels that’s necessary.”
Jabine van der Meijs is looking forward to her new role as CFO at Royal Schiphol Group.
“Schiphol is a truly wonderful organisation that plays a pivotal role in the Dutch economy and Dutch society. I travel a lot, and whenever I am at Schiphol I’m impressed by the quality of the airport and the pleasant atmosphere. I’m proud to be able to contribute to the continued development and improvement of Royal Schiphol Group in the years ahead.”
As from 1 September, the Schiphol Group Management Board will consist of Jos Nijhuis (CEO), Jabine van der Meijs (CFO), André van den Berg (CCO) and Birgit Otto (COO).
