ACI Asia-Pacific is once again launching the ACI Asia-Pacific Young Executive of the Year Award for the year 2011. The award is now open for application.
The ACI Asia-Pacific Young Executive of the Year Award was first introduced in 2009 with overwhelming responses across the region. The award is the first and only award in the Asia-Pacific region which honors the young airport executives who show strong passion for the aviation industry and propose innovative ideas to address the most pressing issues that the industry is facing today.
Mrs. Maggie Kwok, Regional Director of ACI Asia-Pacific said, “The aviation industry has faced some challenging times in the last decade. We have survived the challenges under the able leadership of the seasoned airport leaders and experts. But at the same time, we should encourage inputs from the young executives and it is often through innovations that we will continue to succeed. People are our industry’s most valuable assets and this is a unique award for our industry to identify young talents. I therefore look forward to the active participation of our young executives and the innovative ideas they can come up with to make a difference to our industry. This could be their chance to shine! ”
Each ACI Asia-Pacific airport member is entitled to nominate one candidate to apply for the award. The candidates are required to submit research papers on one of the following topics:
- Comprehensive Review of Airport Business Models
