F&E Aerospace, the organisers of the Dubai Airshow, Gulf Aviation Training Event (GATE), the MEBAA Show, Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME), Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Middle East (MRO ME), and the MEBAA Show Morocco, has announced new shows taking place in the fast growing markets of Turkey and Mexico as part of the Airport Solutions Global Series.
These events will add to the strength of the portfolio which already has a long standing pedigree through the success of its events in Indonesia and Dubai.
The Airport Solutions Global Series consists of four annual B2B exhibitions and conferences located in Indonesia (November 2016), Turkey (April 2017), Mexico (May 2017) and Dubai (November 2017). Covering the full spectrum of the airport solutions industry, exhibitors will include security software and solution providers, airport infrastructure suppliers, manufacturing suppliers, air traffic management specialists and capacity and skill development providers. The high level two and three day conferences will focus on regional and global trends and cover topics including safety, security, passenger experience and regional infrastructure. The events will cater for visitors including government, civil aviation authorities, regulators, airport operators and owners.
The development of airport infrastructure across the globe is on a rapidly upward curve as a result of the growing demand for both domestic and international air travel. The success of Tarsus’ (the parent company of F&E Aerospace) “Indonesia Airports & Aviation Exhibition” held annually in Jakarta, has demonstrated the importance of the sector to the development of a country’s infrastructure.
Like Indonesia and Dubai, both Mexico and Turkey are expected to see significant growth in demand for air transport, resulting in a need for both airport upgrades and the building of brand new facilities, if capacity issues and stagnation are not to impede those countries’ economic growth prospects.
Timothy Hawes, Portfolio Director stated, “Airport Solutions Indonesia, Turkey, Mexico and Dubai are timely events, designed to allow airport and aviation sector professionals to take advantage of the market opportunities available due to significant investment in each of these countries’ airport and aviation markets. The Airport Solutions Global Series is unique in that it will bring together the industry’s entire buying chain, providing a platform to connect suppliers with key industry stakeholders and decision makers whilst addressing major issues and solutions in the innovative conference programmes.”
