Fraport AG has launched a ‘Gaming World’ facility at Frankfurt Airport. Passengers can now try out the latest arcade games free of charge, including car racing, soccer, fun for kids, dancing, and fitness games. Based on Mircrosoft’s Xbox One console, the Gaming World features both interactive games projected on monitor walls and computer-assisted games on gaming pedestals.

Frankfurt Airport is taking a new approach to helping passengers spend their time enjoyably before departure. The first ‘Gaming World’ is located in Terminal 1 on Level 3 of Pier A-Plus opposite Gates Z54 an Z 56, and more are planned.
The Gaming World forms part of Frankfurt Airport’s “Great to have you here!” service quality programme, launched with the aim of continuously improving the customer experience at Germany’s largest aviation hub. Other examples within the initiative include the Frankfurt Airport App 3.0 and free 24-hour Wi-Fi for everyone.
