Brussels Airport has celebrated exceeding the 23 million passenger mark since 1st January 2015 by treating all passengers at the airport on 23rd December to Belgian chocolates.
Brussels Airport CEO, Arnaud Feist, said: “We would like to say thank you to all passengers for deciding on Brussels Airport to jet off on holiday or for business travel. Over the last five years, we have heavily invested to further enhance the quality of our infrastructure and service at the airport in order to create a highly comfortable and efficient environment for our passengers. It is nice to see that these investments are also relished by the passengers”

In recent years the airport has invested in a number of programmes which have come to fruition in 2015. Developments have included the inauguration of Connector, the new building for VIP guests, 4,000 new seats, new play areas for children and the centralised operational services at Airport Operations Centre (APOC).
Feist continued, “It is due to the commitment and dedication of all 20,000 airport employees that we are having another record year which places us at the top of the European leaderboard. Which is why I would like to thank each and every one of them for the enthusiasm and professionalism they put in every single day.”
