ACI World has announced the appointment of Antoine Rostworowski as Director of Facilitation and IT. Antoine will be based in ACI World’s Montreal, Canada offices with responsibilities that include the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) customer service benchmarking programme, airport facilitation, IT and public health strategy, policy and best practice development.

Antoine is no stranger to the world of airports; he is currently Chair of the World IT Standing Committee, a member of the World Facilitation and Service Standing Committee and a key participant in the ACI/IATA team for the successful Amman Airport terminal assessment consulting project. He is also Vice-chair of the IATA Passenger Experience Management Group.

Antoine graduated from Concordia University in Fine Arts in 1987 and from Université de Montréal at H.E.C. (Hautes Études Commerciales) in 1991. He has 23 years of airline/airport experience at the Management level in Operations, Marketing and Finance.

He worked for Canada 3000 airlines, where he managed operations for Montreal and certain other regions. He later worked for at Air Canada’s Corporate Real Estate department, managing the airline’s real estate installations for different cities, as well as rates and charges at different airports. He joined Aéroports de Montréal’s (ADM) Business Development department in 2003, having as his main objective the identification of new types of products, services and technologies to be introduced at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport to improve passenger processes, increase revenues and anticipate the evolution of the installations according to technological changes in the industry. Recently, he was also heavily involved in the creation of a new subsidiary of ADM called Aéroports de Montréal Services, or ADMS, which is providing various airport services, from operations to real estate and airport management.

Antoine was in charge of introducing several self-service and common-use passenger processing systems at ADM, such as self-tagging, self-service bag-drops, mobile services, passenger and baggage tracking and more. In 2010, he received an Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
