West Virginia International Yeager Airport has launched a new U.S. Customs and Border Protection General Aviation Facility, to ensure little to no wait time for international clearance.
The new U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) General Aviation Facility (GAF) has been opened at West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW). CRW is the only international port of entry in the state of West Virginia. As a result, international aircraft operators now have the ability to land directly at CRW to quickly clear CBP.
West Virginia International Yeager Airport offers little to no wait times for international clearance and no taxiway traffic or air traffic congestion. With prior arrangements, the facility is accessible around the clock. Upon clearing U.S. Customs and Border Protection, visitors will find a seamless connection to the first-class amenities and concierge services Capital Jet Centre, our airport operated FBO, provides.
“We look forward to welcoming international visitors to our airport,” said West Virginia International Yeager Airport Director and CEO, Nick Keller. “With an easy to navigate facility, premium service and lower fuel prices, aircraft operators will be pleased they selected CRW as their arrival airport.”
Area Port Director Mark J. Laria applauded the efforts of CBP’s external stakeholders during the lengthy construction project. “We are very appreciative of the support we’ve received from our partners throughout the planning and construction of this facility.”
