Chopin Airport has introduced free unlimited WiFi Internet access…
Chopin Airport has introduced free unlimited WiFi Internet access. The service is available throughout the passenger terminal.
Before, the airport offered wireless Internet access for a period of up to 30 minutes to passengers with boarding passes only. Using the service required obtaining a special code and logging in via a dedicated website.
Now, free unlimited Internet access is available to everyone, including people seeing passengers off or waiting for them inside the terminal. You do not need to log in or pay. Also, there is no time limit for using the WiFi – the connection will be discontinued after 2 hours due to technical reasons, but it is possible to reconnect immediately.
“We think that being able to use the Internet is becoming central to travelling, which is why we’ve decided to make the whole process easier. This is our response to the needs and expectations of our customers and yet another step towards improving our services,” said Radosław Paruzel, deputy director of Chopin Airport.
All it takes to establish a connection is to click on the Internet icon on a mobile phone or laptop, choose the “Chopin-Airport” network, accept the rules and enter the user’s email address.
Radosław Paruzel added: “We are one of the first airports in Europe to offer free unlimited Internet access. At most airports, the service is limited or available for a fee.”
