From February 2022, Helsinki Airport will launch pre-booked ticketless parking for customers visiting the airport, which aims to further simplify the overall passenger airport experience.

Starting from the beginning of February 2022, customers who have booked parking in advance will be able to drive directly into all Finavia’s/Helsinki Airport’s parking areas. The parking area barrier opens automatically when it recognises the vehicle’s registration number, which means that the customer does not have to print a separate parking ticket.
The ticketless model is already in use in the P1 Premium and P2 parking areas. The same model will now be introduced for pre-booked parking in the P3, P3 Premium, P4, and P5 parking areas. If the parking has not been paid in advance on Finavia’s website, the ticket must be printed when driving in.
If the prepaid parking time is exceeded, it will be charged when the car leaves the parking area. If necessary, the customer can contact Finavia’s parking information service.
