On 1 January 2013 the new Director General of EUROCONTROL, Frank Brenner, officially started his five year mandate in charge of the Agency.

Frank, who has worked in air traffic management his entire career, is a highly respected senior figure in the aviation world, and ideally placed to take over from David McMillan, Director General from 2008 to 2012.
