Company expands its green airport product portfolio by bringing the advantages of AD-lights to the taxiway…
ADB Airfield Solutions today launched a new range of AD-lights* at the ongoing Inter Airport China 2012 exhibition in Beijing. The DTS/DTC taxiway lights offer higher reliability and modularity and are up to 45% more energy-efficient over former LED generations.
“We now cover both, runway and taxiway with our AD-lights, offering a broader portfolio of energy efficient products to an increasingly discerning and environment conscious customer base,” said Christian Onselaere, CEO, ADB Airfield Solutions.
The DTS/DTC taxiway and stop bar lights have very low energy consumption (typically 11W for a single-plug bidirectional light and 9W per side for a dual-plug light, compared to 40W for halogen lights). They help increase traffic efficiency and availability of the taxiways, thanks to a substantial reduction in maintenance. Moreover, the high commonality of components between the various models, and easier stock management make them extremely modular.
AD-lights are Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) compliant.
