John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)

 

John F. Kennedy International Airport – also known as JFK airport is located in Queens, New York City. Originally known as Idlewild Airport, it was renamed in 1963 in honour of President John F. Kennedy. 

JFK International Airport has five active terminals which are currently numbered 1, 4, 5, 7 and 8. A new Terminal One is currently being constructed and is due to open in 2026 and will replace the existing Terminal 1 and parts of the former Terminals 2 and 3.

The airport is a major hub for international flights and international airlines at JFK include American Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, JetBlue, Qantas, Korean Air, LATAM Airlines and Delta Airlines.
