For more than 65 years the Kahlbacher company has been dedicated to safety in snow clearance and gritting, moulded by a pioneering spirit, flexibility and great foresight.

The headquarters of Kahlbacher is located in the heart of Europe, at Kitzbühel, Austria. Kahlbacher is a global, private company with strong links to its past roots. Today the company has become a full service provider in road, rail and airport maintenance technology with clearing widths from 1.2 metres to 6.9 metres.

From foundation in 1949 and the first snow plough, a unique range of maintenance products has evolved for keeping all vehicle surfaces free of ice and snow.

Starting out with vehicle hydraulics, through various types of snow ploughs and snow cutters (with application specific ejection) on to snow blowers, cutter blowers and road sweepers and right up to customer specific solutions all the products are developed and produced in Austria. Modern production methods and highly trained staff ensure the excellent quality of our products.

Since 1995, the Kahlbacher Company has been certified to EN ISO 9001 with the realisation of the zero-defect philosophy as its objective.

An extensive network of qualified partners guarantees maximum service and advice in export countries.
