Manchester Airports Group (MAG) has announced a 12-month partnership with aviation content creator Mo T The Airport Guy to showcase the variety of careers available across its airports and inspire the next generation of aviation professionals.
In an industry first, MAG will work with Mo T to produce monthly behind-the-scenes content at Manchester, London Stansted, and East Midlands airports. Framed as “Mo tries every job at the airport,” the series will highlight unique roles and career opportunities in aviation.
This announcement follows MAG’s renewed partnership with Fantasy Wings, a UK organisation dedicated to improving diversity in aviation. Mo T, who is Head of Learning at Fantasy Wings, will play a key role in both initiatives. MAG will continue supporting young people through mentorship, development programmes, and exposure to real-life airport environments.
Check out the type of content he will be producing:
Engaging with future aviation talent
MAG has already attended Fantasy Wings conferences in Manchester, London, and Birmingham, where it spoke about technology in airport operations and career opportunities. As a major employer, MAG is committed to engaging with potential future aviation professionals and ensuring education and employment opportunities are accessible to all.
MAG, which served over 64 million passengers in 2024, operates Manchester, London Stansted, and East Midlands airports, employing 7,600 people with 40,000 on-site jobs.
Emma Crossland, Chief People Officer at MAG, said:
“We are delighted to have agreed this partnership with Mo, which will enable us to showcase the fantastic array of jobs available at our airports to a whole new audience and in an exciting and engaging way.
“At MAG, we want everyone to feel they can access the opportunities we have on offer and to inspire them about a varied and long-lasting career in aviation. That is why I am also pleased that we have renewed our partnership with Fantasy Wings to continue showcasing what our industry has to offer to young people from all backgrounds.”
Mo T’s vision for the partnership
Mo T, The Airport Guy, has over one million followers across social media and is an Aviation Ambassador for the Department for Transport. He said:
“I am extremely excited to be starting this partnership with MAG, which will provide a fantastic opportunity to engage with and highlight all the amazing roles available across MAG’s airports, and within the aviation sector as a whole.”
“I will focus on highlighting not only the roles on offer, but also the people behind them, showcasing the amazing teams of people that work right across the airport campus, and the opportunities for growth and development that a career in aviation offers.”
Where to watch
MAG previously worked with Mo T on its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report in November. Videos from this new partnership will be shared on LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok through both Mo T’s social media and MAG’s Manchester, London Stansted, and East Midlands airport platforms.
The series will also showcase MAG’s education and employment facilities, including Aerozone interactive classrooms, Stansted Airport College, and Airport Academies, which help jobseekers connect with career opportunities.
