The Airport Services Association (ASA) has issued its congratulations on the appointment of Alexandre de Juniac as the new Director General and CEO of IATA.
A heartfelt welcome to Alexandre de Juniac
Samim Aydin, Chairman of ASA, congratulates the appointment of Alexandre de Juniac to Director General and CEO of IATA. “On behalf of all of the ASA members, we give a heartfelt welcome to Alexandre de Juniac and extend our sincere outreach to collaborate with IATA to strengthen our commitment to a safe and secure aviation industry!”
“I look forward to leading IATA as it supports safe, efficient and sustainable global connectivity” – de Juniac
Accepting the assignment, de Juniac stated on the IATA website: “I am honoured by the confidence of my industry colleagues and mindful of the heavy responsibilities that the Director General and CEO bears. Tony Tyler has done a great job at the helm of IATA and I am excited to succeed him. IATA has a critical role to play in supporting the success of the aviation industry‐leading advocacy, safeguarding the industry’s money, building the standards that underpin global connectivity and partnering with stakeholders and governments to drive important changes. I look forward to leading IATA as it supports safe, efficient and sustainable global connectivity.
